Cancelation Policy

 

Due to the high demand for instruction and my availability for private instruction, cancellation of a session is not permitted.

Rescheduling:

Rescheduling is permitted but must be done more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled private instruction time. Failure to reschedule a lesson prior to 24 hours will result in a full charge for the lesson the same as if it still took place. All reschedules must done using your account through the your account on this website.

In the event of illness or other emergency, it is possible to reschedule a lesson less than 24 hours from scheduled time. However, the instructor must be notified via telephone or text.

Scheduling of Private Instruction:

Private Instruction sessions are scheduled based on the availability of the instructor. This availability can change and all students must look to the website for available session days and times.

 

Availability of Instructor:

 

In the event the instructor’s availability changes after a student has scheduled a session, the instructor will contact the student and the lesson will be reschedule at the earliest convenience for both the instructor and the student but no refund shall be given.

 

Session duration:

All sessions must start on time and end promptly after the session period; this will allow for post-instruction work to be done (emailing lesson assignment sheet/materials) and preparation for the next session.

 

Period of validity for purchased Packages:

 

All sessions purchased are valid until the calendar year they were purchased in. If there are remaining lessons from an old purchase and more lessons are paid for the time limit will start over on all lessons.

 

Period of validity for purchased Packages:

 

All sessions must be used within 90 days of purchase. Lessons will NOT be transfered past 30 days if they are not used. Scheduling of lessons are subject to the availability of the instructor.

 

Student’s equipment / software responsibility:

All students are responsible for ensuring they have a working high speed internet connection, Skype or Facetime user ID. If there are technical problems on the student’s side at lesson time it is not the responsibility of RisingReed.

In the event the instructor experiences technical problems at the time of a scheduled lesson and we are unable to provide our regular services we will arrange for a make-up lesson at the earliest convenience to the student and instructor but no refund shall be given.
