Hi, I’m Dallas Vietty—accordion performer and educator based in Pennsylvania, USA. I’ve been teaching accordion online for over a decade, with a focus on creativity, rhythm, and developing a confident, expressive playing style. In this livestream, we’re giving the often-neglected left hand the spotlight it deserves.

We’ll explore grooves, bass lines, and melodic fragments that help develop real independence between the hands—so you can create full, exciting arrangements and rhythmic textures whether you’re playing solo or in a group.

From steady foundational patterns to more syncopated and adventurous ideas, I’ll show you exercises that not only challenge your coordination but sound good while you’re doing them. We’ll look at how to groove with confidence, how to shape melodies on the left hand, and how to free up your right hand by creating a solid rhythmic anchor underneath.
